Housing justice means everyone has access to safe, dignified, and affordable homes — and that we address the harms that have led to today’s disparities in housing.We focus on it because housing is foundational for well-being, health, and opportunity. When people have stable housing, they are better able to thrive.

Every person has value, worth, and dignity. Everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
Stable housing is the foundation from which we build thriving lives.
People closest to the issues should help design the solutions.
Progress requires collaboration across communities, organizations, and systems.
