Does the Foundation accept unsolicited grant requests?

No, not at this time.

Does the Foundation fund organizations outside the Twin Cities Metro Area?

No, at this time we focus exclusively on the seven-county metro area (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington Counties).

Does the Foundation support direct giving to individuals or families?

No, we only support organizations that work with individuals and families.

Does the Foundation support or sponsor fundraising events such as benefits, galas, etc.?

No, we do not support or sponsor fundraising events.

Are Foundation staff available to meet with representatives from organizations considering applying for a grant?

Yes, as time allows, staff are available for phone conversations.

How will I learn if my organization has been awarded a grant?

We inform all applicants of our grant decisions in writing.
